You may have heard us say that we can enable a farmer PROFIT up to $1,500 more PER ANIMAL if they use our program. This is 100% possible, but there is one big “if”. IF you can sell your beef… Not everyone can sell everything all the time depending on the market they are in, BUT everyone can sell something, most of the time. Most customers start with our beef jerky & hotdogservice, then go from there. You will find what sells best for you very quickly! No other beef processor in the country offers a more comprehensive “one stop shop” service than we do.
Do you want breed, diet, location or other label claims on your packaging like “100% Grass Fed”, “Angus”, “Wagyu”? If so, our team can walk you through the steps needed to accomplish that. Ultimately, we must submit signed paperwork from you to FSIS (Food Safety & Inspection Services) for approval.
We do some e-commerce sales of our own right here on our website, but if you look closely, we promote our processing customers just as much as our own beef! We don’t want all the market share for our own brand - we want you selling your beef so that you keep bringing cattle to our plant. For a small annual fee, we will feature you on our website and generate sales for you! We offer paid social media promotions, along with the option to add your profile to our regional directory, so consumers in your area can learn more about your story and buy your beef!
You can sell ribeyes and filets all day long, but selling all of the ground beef fast enough can be a challenge (that we know all too well)! At times, we can purchase your trim from you if you do not want it back for ground beef - this means you keep cash moving and your sales are not impeded as you wait to sell a bunch of frozen ground beef. We follow published USDA boxed beef market pricing, or make offers based on our wholesale needs, so do NOT expect retail prices when opting for this service.
We have delivered farmers beef to their doorstep for years. For some larger transactions, we can deliver your beef to your customer as well. This comes with liability release related paperwork, but you can use our delivery service to deliver almost anywhere. For large volume, we can connect you to a 3rd party carrier. We have accounts setup with 3rd party blast freezing facilities as well to better help you manage your product.
“The processor stole my beef. I didn’t get all my meat back!” said the farmer… We record darn near everything (other than live weight)! All of your carcass & finished cut data is recorded, then provided to you through our invoicing software. Our data is even exportable to a Microsoft Excel or Google Doc. spreadsheet to help you best manage your inventory.
